Today we talked about making connections while we read. By making connections we are able to make better sense of what we read. Sometimes it is a text to self connection, sometimes a text to text connection and other times it is a text to world connection.
Please reply to this post with 2 connections you made while reading today. Explain which type of connections they are (t to s, t to t, t to w) then go into detail explaining what part of the story you connected to and tell what your connections were. Remember to go beyond the very basic "I have been on an airplane" to something more in-depth "I connected to how Alex felt when his parents split up....."

ReplyDeletethe part when he talked about when his parents broke up it made me think off when my mom and dad brake up and it was sad and everything is great now no complaints from me.
I like the feeling of being in a airplane and I like the take off gust the son.

ReplyDeletethe part when he said that the flight took at least 24 hours connected to me since the one time my family and I had gone on a trip to Thailand once and the trip took at least a day and a half due to refuel.

another connection I made was when Alex said he liked it when the plane took off and this is something I like also because of when it takes off you can try to lean forward to try and fight the G-force.

I connected to when Alex went and explored the hotel because whenever I stay at a hotel the first thing I do in the morning after I wake up early is explore everything there is at the hotel.

I also connected when Alex was on the plane to Beijing China because ever time when I am on a plane I always kind of think it is so incredible when we go straight into the air , but sometime I just feel like pucking.

T.T.S-When Alex and his father were driving at the very straight road it reminds me of when I had went to Korea and was driven to the straight road that lasted for a half an hour.

2.Alex went to Beijing and he change his name also I went to Canada I change my name too. I was excited about I get the new name, and Alex has a new name and I think Alex feel good too.

One of Alex's interests is the history and culture of other countries, last year we learned about the customs and culture of China and I learned a lot and loved it!

I once watched a movie where the main character went to Japan and there were people in the airport holding up signs that said the last names of the people hat were coming off the plane.
